Configuring POP 3 Email Access with Memberize Hosted Email Accounts

All Memberize Hosted Email accounts are compatible with MS Outlook and any other POP3 compliant email client, although you are also free to use the SmarterMail™ webmail interface available at mail.newhco.com.

To set up these email addresses in a third-party email client:

Server Information:

Incoming mail server (POP3):  mail.newhco.com

Outgoing mail server (SMTP):  mail.newhco.com

Logon Information:

User Name:  [this should be the entire email address]

example:  yourname@yourdomainname.com

Password:  [this should be the password as configured in the SmarterMail™ webmail interface.  

 

Under Outgoing Server options make sure you have the "Requires SMTP Authentication" box checked as the Memberizeemail server requires a valid SMTP login to send messages.  Note that your Webmail login is the same as your email client SMTP login.

 

Tips:

If you elect to have your mail forwarded, you may consider checking the "delete on forward" option to prevent messages from accumulating in excess of your email storage quota.
