This feature allows for Members (and non-members, if
applicable) to submit comments and rate the Vendors displayed in the Memberize
Online Vendor Displays. All visitors
will be able to view the combined average of all ratings submitted for each
vendor as well as read submitted comments.
To enable this feature:
- Login
as an Administrator to your Memberize site;
- From
the Control Panel, choose “Vendors” (under the Content options);
- If Vendor
Manager has not yet been enabled, enable it and then select the “Configure”
link, otherwise;
- Select
“Vendor Display Options”
- In the
“Allow Vendor Ratings” select box, choose which visitors will be granted
permission to submit comments and ratings on a your vendor listings and click
the “update” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes;
- Select
the “Configure Rating Factors” hyperlink.
A new window will open which will allow for the creation of up to
five (5) factors upon which visitors will be asked to rate a given vendor.
To view/edit comments and ratings which have been submitted:
- Login
as an Administrator to your Memberize site;
- From
the Control Panel, choose “Vendors” (under the Content options);
- Below
each Vendor listed, you will notice an “Add Comment” link. If ratings have already been submitted
for a given vendor, there will appear the combined average rating for the
client (denoted as stars) as well as the number of ratings that have been
submitted.
- To ADD
a rating, simply select “Add Comment”.
A new window will appear.
Complete the form and submit.
- To
EDIT and existing comment, select the “View Comments” link. All previously submitted ratings and
comments will be visible;
- Select
the “Edit” link appearing for the record
to be changed;
- A new
window will appear. Complete the
edits and submit the form.
Note: Ratings and comments that have been submitted
may only be edited by Administrators, or by the member who had submitted the
rating. Ratings submitted by non-members
(if applicable) can only be edited by Administrators.
